When I was 20 years old I was at a crossroads: do I go to cosmetology school or go to college to be an early childhood educator? I had a passion for both and thought that I could be happy working in either field... But, I had always told myself that I wanted a college degree, so I ended up taking online classes to work towards my bachelors while working in a preschool.
Fast forward 8 years and I found myself unhappy in my career and as if I had outgrown my position. I did not want to work my way up into an office job, so after much time and thought, I decided to pursue my other passion and here I am!
As I transition from one career into another, I am very happy to know that my love for education will continue. I have a drive to learn as much as I possibly can about this industry including techniques, products and tools. After attending a class or hair show, I leave motivated, inspired and eager to try what I learned on a client.
One of my favorite things about being a hair stylist is the balance between art and science. Watching hair change in front of your eyes has to be one of the most fascinating things to experience.
Each day is new, challenging and exciting! I get to have amazing conversations with clients. I Love learning about the different paths people have walked including their backgrounds, careers, families, hobbies and so much more. As your stylist I hope to build not only a professional relationship with you, but a friendship as well, all while making you look and feel your best!
So go ahead and book now so we can start getting to know one another and start working towards your hair goals!
